  On this day, 110 days have passed since the Chinese Art Museum suspended its opening to the public on January 24. On Monday, the National Art Museum of China issued an orderly opening announcement. From May 13th, reservations, peak shifts, and current-limit visits will be implemented, with a daily limit of 500 people. The day before the opening of the museum, the first day of the opening and this Saturday and Sunday are already full, which shows the enthusiasm of the audience.

  Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China, introduced that in order to ensure the safe and orderly visit of the audience, the museum staff received relevant training, a one-meter line was set up in the queue area outside the museum, and the venue was disinfected every day from 13:00 to 14:00 after the opening of the museum. During the epidemic prevention and control period, on-site appointments and group appointment visits are temporarily not accepted.

  At present, the National Art Museum of China is exhibiting "Salute to Donors-Exhibition of Donated Works Collected by the National Art Museum", which will be held until June 6. This is the largest exhibition of donated works planned and held since the establishment of the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition has carefully selected 900 works of more than 700 artists from the 30,000 works donated by more than 1,200 donors that have been sorted out ( Set) works, and call all exhibition halls and outdoor sculpture garden of the National Art Museum of China.

  Before the Spring Festival of 2020, this exhibition was only displayed for three days as the New Year's exhibition, and it had to be closed due to the epidemic. Now, the audience can finally enjoy the show. The exhibition will be completed by Su Shi, Tang Yin, Xu Beihong, Wu Guanzhong, Picasso, Dali, Katsushika Hokusai, Andy Warhol, David Hockney and other masterpieces. Among them, "Xiaoxiang Bamboo and Stone Map" is an isolated copy of the domestic work of Su Shi Is a national treasure donated to the country by Deng Tuo for free in 1964.

  There are many moving stories behind this exhibition. Many donors donated all their best works and treasures retained by their elders. For example, in 1996, German collectors Ludwig and his wife donated 89 pieces (117 pieces) of international art works, including Picasso, David Hockney, Andy Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Anselm Key Masterpieces of art by everyone. In 2015, the four children of Lao She and Hu Bangqing donated paintings and calligraphy works such as Ren Bonian, Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Chen Shizeng, and Fu Baoshi, which were collected by their parents, to the National Art Museum of China for free.   During the epidemic period, the National Art Museum of China closed its exhibitions, and launched online exhibitions such as "The Image of Laborers in the Works of the National Art Museum" and "Salute to Medical Workers-Selected Works of Collections in Some National Art Museums" to allow art The space of the pavilion extends even wider.
