Now, in full alarm for the coronavirus crisis, and despite the uncertainty about how the new normal situation that may befall future television projects may affect , the head of RTVE has decided to undertake new changes that affect a Strategic section of the programming of La 1 and that leaves the organization of the main chain of the public corporation committed for the coming season.
The first change affects La Mañana , the morning magazine of La 1 that María Casado has been running since 2016 . Last Friday TVE announced through a note that the president of the Television Academy will stop presenting this space and that her place will be taken by Mónica López , currently responsible for meteorological information on the public network.
Casado is part of the fixed workforce of RTVE so he will continue to be linked to the corporation, but at the moment it has not transpired which position he will occupy from September when the relay will take place in the morning . "He will dedicate himself to other professional tasks at RTVE," he limited himself to pointing out the note.
