Chrissy Teigen clashes with New York Times reporter

Chrissy Teigen had a hectic start to the week. The top chef who has become a culinary specialist has in fact been teased by a New York Times food journalist , Alison Roman. Critics denounced the business of John Legend's wife around the kitchen, denouncing an empire that "horrifies" him.

An attack which enormously wounded Chrissy Teigen, who usually does not let fall by the critics, and for good reason. The mother of two is an unconditional fan of the journalist. As a result, the former Angel of Victoria's Secret decided to restrict access to his Twitter account and to withdraw from social networks.

I really hate what this drama has caused this week. Calling my kids Petri dish babies or making up flight manifests with my name on them to “Epstein island”, to justify someone else's disdain with me seems gross to me so I'm gonna take a little break.

Aware of having hurt Chrissy Teigen enormously, Alison Roman asked forgiveness from the star, but also from Marie Kondo, the storage specialist, who had also paid the price for her opinion.

Hi— ICYMI, over the weekend there was a bit of a twitter conversation where I was rightly called out for disparaging remarks I made regarding Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. “I have to formally ask forgiveness from Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. I have used their names disparagingly to try to distinguish myself, and there is no excuse for that. It was stupid, insensitive and thoughtless. I must learn, and respect, the difference between being unfiltered and lacking education. It is not up to them to bear the brunt of my learning (or to anyone else) and I am deeply sorry that Chrissy and Marie paid the price. (…) I am not the victim, and my insecurities do not excuse this behavior. I am a white woman who has and will continue to benefit from white privilege and I recognize that this makes what I have said even more inexcusable. I need to learn from this, and it will motivate me to be better, ”wrote the reporter.
