More than 65 percent of patients with the emerging coronavirus have talked about their loss of olfactory early on, preceding known symptoms, such as fever, cough and shortness of breath, a new study conducted at Harvard University and the King's College College in London.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States recently added a sense of smell to approved symptoms of the disease.

The study was conducted on more than 2.6 million people, about 17 percent of whom were infected with Coronavirus, while the researchers used a digital application to track the symptoms that appear on them.

At the beginning of the Corona crisis, the doctors pointed to mostly respiratory symptoms of the emerging corona virus, as well as a rise in temperature, before they developed into other symptoms such as loss of taste, smell, bruises, and blood clots.
