China News Network, Kunming, May 12 (Miao Chao) Anning Municipal Government Information Office of Kunming City, Yunnan Province issued a notice on the 12th that the Anning forest fire that has been burning for three days and three nights has been extinguished. The reporter also learned from the Yunnan Forest Fire Brigade that the Anning forest fire had spread to the neighboring Lufeng County of Chuxiong Prefecture before it was extinguished.

According to a report from the Information Office of the Anning Municipal Government, as of 12:00 on May 12, the forest fire in the Shanshenba Forest of Shuangmei Village Committee of Qinglong Street Office of Anning City passed 3800 troops, police, civilians and professional fire rescue teams at all levels. 4 helicopters, 20 excavators, 16 loaders, and 61 fire trucks worked hard to put out the fire. The open fire in the Anning fire site was all extinguished, and it was transferred to the stage of residual fire clearance and fire site duty.

The fire area of Anning fire site was about 110 hectares, with no casualties. The cause of the fire is under investigation and will be dealt with in accordance with laws and regulations.
Before the fire at the Anning fire site was extinguished, the northern line of the fire site had spread to 600 meters west of Ajianglang Village, Qinfeng Town, Lufeng County, Chuxiong Prefecture. The 260 commanders and soldiers of the Forest Fire Brigade of Kunming City relied on favorable conditions such as small reservoirs and cultivated land. Rescue, successfully intercepted most of the fire.

At 15:33 on the 9th, a mountain fire occurred on Qinglong Street in Anning City. The fire site was mountain forest land, and the vegetation was coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest dominated by Yunnan pine. The type of forest fire spread was a steady surface fire with local crown fire. (Finish)
