While we lament the absence of Plus belle la vie (no offense to some), good news has just illuminated our first day of deconfinement. Because as Echos Bibiane Godfroid assured , the president of the production company Newen (of the TF1 group), the filming of the soap of France 3 could resume very soon.
" Life more beautiful and Tomorrow belongs to us should be among the first shoots that we will start again by the end of May," she explained in a column spotted by Puremédias. Business is picking up, as they say.
"We have to rewrite certain episodes"
Obviously, the shootings will have to be completely redesigned in order to respect sanitary measures. “We will have to find new ways of working, to respect social distancing. For the filming of series with sometimes close actors and large teams, the recovery promises to be more complicated, ”specifies Bibiane Godfroid. Like the filming conditions, the stories of each soap opera will also undergo profound upheavals. “We have to rewrite certain episodes and review staging to respect sanitary measures. There are still several practical details to be settled, such as the transportation of the teams and the regular disinfection of the premises, among others, ”adds the president of Newen.
Can we therefore expect a resumption of these soap operas very soon? Unfortunately, viewers will still have to take their troubles patiently. As Puremédias explains, if TF1 could soon relaunch Tomorrow belongs to us (the chain has some new episodes in stock), Plus belle la vie should not make a comeback before the start of the new school year in September. And the same goes for Un si grand soleil on France 2.
