An elderly person who was victim of a special fraud was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department on the suspicion that he participated in the fraud case as a "receiver" who cheats cash this time.

The person arrested was Masashi Fujishiro, a beauty suspect in Shin-Ogawamachi, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo (68).

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, in December of last year, I contacted a mobile phone of a woman in her 40s in Saitama prefecture in the guise of a lawyer and took legal action because the usage fee had not been paid yet. It is suspected of being fraudulent because he called in and deceived more than 7 million yen in cash.

This time, Fujishiro was masqueraded as a lawyer's office clerk and arrested as a "receiver" to receive money, but in fact, about a month before this case, he was scammed by a similar technique and cashed. It means that they had deceived 1.1 million yen.

According to the investigation, he said, "I worked as a" recipient "because I thought I could get my money back by following the instructions of the fraud group."

The Metropolitan Police Department is proceeding with the investigation because it believes that the fraudulent group was using the victim as a "recipient".
