The Ministry of Labor published on Saturday, on its site, a guide to telework for deconfinement in the form of questions and answers, for employers and employees. “To achieve # deconfinement, companies must make maximum use of #working. After advice from the social partners, we are today publishing a guide to help companies and employees in this work organization ”, tweeted Minister Muriel Pénicaud.

This guide will be intended for "companies which until now were not used to teleworking and which had not set up agreement and charter, which do not always know how to organize teleworking", had explained the minister this Thursday at the press conference of Edouard Philippe on deconfinement. According to the ministry, about five million people currently use this practice.

"Crucial" in Ile-de-France

"We also count on the responsibility of each company in particular to continue to use telework to the maximum of what is possible and especially in Ile-de-France where it is crucial", she added. Union officials have criticized the initiative for wanting to keep hold of such a guide.

They are also considering organizing inter-professional negotiations on telework. "If the result of the negotiations arrives in September-October, it is interesting for the future but it will not be operational for the next phase," replied Muriel Pénicaud.
