The world's most popular instant messaging platform, WhatsApp, is preparing to roll out 5 new premium features over the coming period.
And a report published by Technology website monitored the details of those new exceptional features, the most prominent of which would be the "permissible closure" technology, according to the website.
These features also include new technologies that facilitate video calls and other tools that provide a comprehensive solution to your WhatsApp communication needs.
It is scheduled that these technologies will be officially activated through the introduction of "WhatsApp" official updates to apply them through the operating systems "Android" and "iOS".
The five features were as follows:
1- Increase the limit:
WhatsApp decided to increase the limit for group calls, as it is now possible to add 8 participants to a conference or video call instead of just 4.
2- Disrupting Propagation:
WhatsApp will introduce a new technology to disrupt the spread of some news, by limiting the redirection of some links that appear to be promoting false or misleading news, especially those related to the emerging corona virus.
3- Permissible closure:
WhatsApp has introduced a technology that enables the user to close his account, so that it can only be opened through him, whether through a password, fingerprint or face recognition technology, to protect their chats from the eyes of strangers and intruders.
4- Waiting:
If you receive more than one call at a time, WhatsApp has introduced a new call waiting technology, and while you make the call and receive another, you will see an option to accept the new call or leave it on hold until the other call ends.
5- New privacy:
WhatsApp has introduced new privacy settings for groups, so you can now control who can add you to the WhatsApp group, and you can prevent group members from sending private messages to you as well.
