Two men aged 18 and 22 were tried immediately in court Tuesday before the Rennes Criminal Court after a chase with the gendarmes. The facts took place on Sunday, as reported by Ouest-France .
In the early hours of the morning, three men were spotted throwing packages containing narcotic drugs over the walls of the Rennes-Vezin prison center. The gendarmes then wanted to carry out their check, but the three men fled in a car.
The car rolls over and ends up in a field
This was followed by a chase over nearly 60 kilometers which ended at the level of the town of Pierric (Loire-Atlantique). The driver lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over several times before ending its run in a field. Two of the suspects who fled on foot were quickly arrested while the third fugitive went to the gendarmerie the next day.
The two adults were sentenced to eight months suspended prison sentences respectively for the youngest and eight months imprisonment, including four suspended sentences, for the driver. The third suspect, a minor, will be tried by another body.
