Authorities speak of a "major operation". On Saturday, around 260 employees of the Arrivé company (Maître Coq) in Essarts-en-Bocages (Vendée) underwent screening tests for coronavirus, on the initiative of the Regional Health Agency.

According to the prefecture, which does not specify what triggered such a series of tests, four positive cases were detected. Each of his patients "will be the subject of isolation and support by the health authorities".

A second series of samples

Sunday, and while the government's strategy aims to find, test, and isolate people in contact with the sick, “the work of identifying subjects at risk contacts begins (…). It will be carried out by the ARS, in close collaboration with the occupational doctor and company officials. The prefecture indicates that other employees still need to be tested, and that "preventive" measures could be taken. "A second series of about 400 samples (personal remaining) will take place on Monday in the company."

This weekend, two other sources of contamination, in Dordogne and in Vienne, were discovered.
