There were no casualties, but major property damage in just a few minutes. While severe weather hit Brittany on Saturday afternoon, it was downright a mini-tornado that passed through several villages in Morbihan, near the town of Langonnet, around 6.30 p.m.
According to the newspaper Ouest-France , several houses but also agricultural buildings have had their roof blown. A high voltage line fell to the ground. According to France Bleu, hangars that housed cars and motorhomes also collapsed, destroying the vehicles.

New thunderstorms expected this Sunday
Thunderstorms hit hard elsewhere in Brittany, with several hundred interventions by firefighters in the evening. According to Stéven Tual, meteorologist for Météo Bretagne, "thunderstorms sometimes deposited the equivalent of a month of precipitation in a few hours west of Rennes and in the Mené". According to the site, new stormy episodes are expected this Sunday afternoon, mainly between the Gulf of Morbihan, Loire-Atlantique and the south of the Rennes basin.
