The incident occurred in the early hours of December 17, 1995, and the Shashi Rural Credit Cooperatives Association (hereinafter referred to as the cooperative) on Jiangjin Middle Road caught fire. Three bodies were found at the scene. The deceased were the treasury keeper and guard.

Among the gangs, Liu Ang took the initiative to plan the step-by-step analysis, the details of the crime, and the escape route. When committing the crime, the three men sneaked into the credit cooperative with a knife and axe, and killed the two warders who were watching TV. They then knocked down a guard with an axe and killed them on the bed.

Subsequently, they cut a hole in the iron gate of the vault, pried open multiple iron boxes, and stole more than 2.3 million yuan in cash.

At 4 o'clock in the morning, three people splashed gasoline on the scene and ignited, driving away. After escaping from the scene, the three people split the stolen money equally and each received more than 700,000 yuan in cash.
