According to Ishikawa Prefecture, two newly confirmed infections were two women in their 70s and 80s who were hospitalized at Futatsuya Hospital in Kahoku City.
Among them, a woman in her 70s in Kahoku City was negative when she had a PCR test on the 27th of last month, but she was diagnosed with pneumonia on the 8th, and another test confirmed that she was infected.
Also, a woman in her 80s in Kahoku City also had a negative PCR test on the 23rd of last month, but she had a fever in the 37's level on the 8th, and a retest revealed that she was infected.
At Futatsuya Hospital, a cluster of infected people, which is the most common in Ishikawa Prefecture, is occurring. If you include these two people, 66 people including inpatients and staff will be infected with the new coronavirus.
Now, 277 people have been confirmed to be infected in Ishikawa prefecture, 16 of whom have died.
