  In the early morning of December 17, 1995, a major murder, robbery, and arson occurred in Shashi Rural Credit Union, No. 41, Jiangjin Middle Road, Jingzhou City. Three people on duty were killed, and more than 2.3 million yuan of cash stored in the vault was robbed.

  After the incident, the Shashi District Bureau of Jingzhou Public Security Bureau quickly launched investigation work. In April 1998, one of the perpetrators, Jiang Mou, was arrested and executed. In June of the same year, the co-prison Liu Moumou committed suicide. Another accomplice, Liu Mou, fled.

  For 25 years, the Jingzhou police has not given up the pursuit of the suspect Liu, and continuously obtained relevant information from Liu to the Ministry of Public Security to be wanted as a Class A fugitive.

  On May 5, 2020, the Jingzhou police obtained an important clue from the police in Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, and immediately organized a special class to conduct a research and judgment comparison to finally determine the location of Liu's hiding place. Subsequently, the special police team quickly linked with the Anhui police and arrested Liu in Huashan District, Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province at 19:30 on the 5th.
