An Indian pharmacist was killed after eating a medicinal mixture prepared by him and his manager, in the hope that it would help him recover from Covid-19 disease.
The two men worked at a company specializing in herbal medicine and tried the presumptive treatment for themselves, a mixture of nitrogen oxide and sodium nitrate, in a house in the southeastern city of Chennai.
The pharmacist developed its formula after conducting Internet searches and bought ingredients from the local market.
