Online entrance ceremony New Corona closed until the end of the month Kitakyushu May 8th 16:30

An online entrance ceremony was held at a junior high school in Kitakyushu where the school was closed until the end of May, and new students met with their homeroom teachers and classmates over the screen.

At Kokura Junior High School attached to Fukuoka University of Education in Kitakyushu City, Kokura Junior High School was scheduled to hold an entrance ceremony on the 8th, but it was not possible because the school holiday was extended until the end of May.

Instead, an online entrance ceremony was held, where 120 new students were connected to each other via a video conference system, and face-to-face with their homeroom teachers and classmates through the screen.

In the scene where each student wrote and announced his or her decision to live in junior high school, some students wrote that they would "win" with the feeling that they would not lose to the new coronavirus.

One of the boys said, "I really wanted to celebrate each other face-to-face, but I positively think that the online entrance ceremony is rare, and I want to do my best in my future school life."

At this junior high school, we are considering decentralized school attendance this month, and we hope to hold another entrance ceremony after the school restarts.
