  According to reports, at 10 a.m. on May 8, the Dari County Emergency Bureau received a phone call from the village cadres of Longcai Village, Jimai Town, claiming that a herdsman was trapped by more than 90 cattle and 6 calves just born. The island in the center of the Yellow River, 40 kilometers away from the county, requested rescue.

  After receiving the rescue call, Dari County Emergency Bureau rushed to the scene together with the county fire rescue team. After arriving at the scene, it was found that the river channel was about 40 meters, the water depth was about 2.5 meters, and 92 cows were trapped.

  The Dari County Fire and Rescue Brigade immediately commanded an assault boat. Six people (four rescuers and two herders) with the boat drove to the opposite river bank to drive off. The four rescuers took the calf to the assault boat and drove back to a safe area. In addition, 92 cattle were driven from the river to a safe area.
