A 21-year-old man was arrested trying to trick cash from an elderly person in Tokyo who was calling to worry about the new coronavirus, pretending to be a son.

The person arrested was Suspect Touharu (21), whose address and occupation are unknown.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, there is a suspicion of an attempted fraud attempting to trick the cash by calling a male in his 70s in Hachioji, Tokyo, on the 7th of this month.

On the 6th of this month, a man who pretended to be his son first received a phone call from a man pretending to be a son, saying, "Did you get your mask?"

Then, on the 7th, I received a call again and said, "I dropped my bag on the train. It would be a nuisance to the company." However, the man suspected that he was suspicious and reported to the Metropolitan Police Department to receive cash. Was arrested.
