In November 2019, Xie Moumou together with Yang Moumou and 9 others began to dig one of the ancient tombs. But after more than ten days of digging, the operation had to be stopped due to the seepage and collapse of the burrow. After the incident, 7 people were arrested and 2 were at large.
The seven people arrested found nothing in the digging of ancient tombs, but they are still suspected of constituting the crime of digging ancient tombs.
