The man explains that the old lady, who came to confine herself to a house he lent her, was fined by the gendarmes, on the grounds that she had walked on the Kérity embankment, located a few meters from the house that she occupies. Several days ago, several messages mentioned the suicide of the old lady on the same dike. The gendarmerie of Finistère spoke to denounce a fake news. Yes, a person killed himself on the pier, but it was not Joëlle, the octogenarian verbalized.
Originally from Burgundy, the old lady had received the visit of the gendarmes the day before her verbalization. Forced to stay in Brittany where she comes to this cottage every year, Joëlle wanted to go home. The gendarmes succeeded in dissuading him from it. The next day, it was other agents who checked her while she was walking by the water a few dozen meters from her temporary home. And that's where it will be verbalized.

This was denounced by his landlord a few hours later in a video that had gone viral. The gendarmerie explained this and contacted the octogenarian. At the start of the week, history resurfaced when an elderly lady killed herself on the same Kérity dike. It was Joëlle's landlord who alerted the emergency services. It was enough to fuel the rumor of the suicide of the verbal octogenarian. "Joëlle is alive and well," says the gendarmerie of Finistère, confirming that another woman has killed herself on the dike.
