INTERVIEW

Concert scenes and cheering crowds that boost morale. The French group Hyphen Hyphen released their new clip for the title Young Leaders on Wednesday . The video is a behind-the-scenes immersion of their European tour in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, cut short after three dates due to the coronavirus. "We were still able to make and live our last moments of freedom on stage, which characterizes us well", confides the group on Europe 1.

"This tour was a way to conquer the hearts of Germany, Holland and Belgium. For us it was so beautiful to go back on stage, to be together and to slam before confinement." Like a report, the clip of Hyphen Hyphen captures the moments of life of the group on stage and behind the scenes, in the streets of the cities where their concerts took place.

A message of hope

Before releasing this video, the group hesitated for a long time. "At the beginning we wanted to wait until the confinement stopped to post, so as not to add data to data but we said to ourselves' since we are not sure of the end, we are not going to reporter ad vitam aeternam '", says Santa, singer of the group. "Why not put Young leaders who are a message of hope, a desire to be free together and to change things."

Confined separately, the three members of the group, Santa (vocals), Adam (guitar) and Line (bass) are eager to reconnect with their audience. Initially planned for this year, their American tour is postponed to January 2021. They will pass through Canada, then the cities of New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, in the United States. "The pill is passed, it is only part delivered. We return there next January. We are in full composition, we want to present new songs", they explain.
