A Canadian Ontario court has sent director Tommy Wiseau to pay just under $ 700,000, equivalent to over $ 6.8 million, to documentary filmmakers who wanted to make a movie about Wiseau, Variety writes.

The documentary Room full of spoons was supposed to premiere as early as 2017, but Wiseau stopped the film by suing the documentaries. Wiseau believes that Room full of spoons infringes on his copyright and violates his privacy. Wiseau's origins have long been a mystery and the film reveals which country he was born into.

The judge finally went on the line of documentary films and argued that Wiseau's origins are available through open sources.

Wiseau has to pay for the income the documentary films got rid of because the film could not be released and know that he acted "oppressively and scandalously" against the films.
