With 40,000 “beach attendants” last summer, the event no longer seemed to be in line with the ban on all events of more than 5,000 participants until September. The organizers therefore had to resolve it: the 15th edition of the Electronic Beaches, which was to surround the beach of the Palais des Festivals from August 7 to 9, is canceled.

"Following the government's announcement, it will not be possible for beach attendants to come and stomp on the hot sand of the most beautiful beach in Cannes," they said, announcing "officially the postponement of the festival to 6 , August 7, 8, 2021. "

"Support the festival by making a donation"

Tickets already purchased can be refunded, kept for the next edition or used to "support the festival by making a donation," they said. The modalities will soon be communicated via the social networks of the event.
