The Nouvelle-Aquitaine region has only recorded eight new (confirmed) coronavirus cases in 24 hours. This brings the number of cases to 4,707 since the start of the epidemic in the region.
Even if the epidemic slows sharply, we deplore seven additional deaths, or 336 people who died in hospital in all, a figure to which should be added 42 people who died in nursing homes.
Some 583 people are still hospitalized for Sars-CoV-2 in New Aquitaine (- 9 compared to the previous day) and 103 people are still placed in intensive care (- 6 compared to the previous day).
