During the May 1st holiday, Beijing's parks welcomed 4.52 million, and suburban parks increased significantly

  The Beijing News (Reporter Zhou Yi) reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Landscaping Bureau on May 5 that during the “May Day” holiday, thousands of parks in the city received 4.52 million tourists, a decrease of 48.52% from the same period last year.

  Among them, 2.2 million people walked into urban parks, a decrease of 22.91% year-on-year. Suburban parks received 1.38 million visitors, a decrease of 52.90% year-on-year.

  According to monitoring data, the 27 parks such as Yuyuantan Park, Beihai Park, Tiantan Park and Chaoyang Park all have more than 10,000 visitors per day. The average daily passenger flow of the Olympic Forest Park in Chaoyang District exceeds 50,000. Tiantan Park and Chaoyang Park also saw peaks in passenger flow exceeding 30,000 per day. The number of tourists in suburban parks has risen sharply. The number of tourists in Daxing Niantan Park, Nanhaizi Park, Binhe Forest Park in Changping, Dongxiaokou Urban Recreation Park, and Future Science City Waterfront Park has increased by 60% to 70%.

  On the eve of the small holiday, the city established a unified reservation platform for 35 park areas with large passenger flow. During the May Day holiday, these 35 hotspot parks received a total of 1.586 million tourists, accounting for 35% of the city's total tourist volume. Among them, 507,000 were booked for admission, accounting for more than 30%. The three parks, including Olympic Forest Park, Chaoyang Park, and Old Summer Palace, have entered the park by appointment, and the average daily visitor volume has fallen by 29%, 19%, and 11% compared to the Ching Ming Festival holiday.

  At present, in accordance with the principle of "can open and open in an orderly manner", 6 indoor pavilions in the city's parks are open, and 23 "parks in the park" are also open to welcome guests. At the same time, there are 48 restaurants and 173 shops in the park scenic area of ​​the city. Tourists holding the Beijing "Healthy Health" green health pass code can enter the indoor space to dine and buy goods. The number of instant meals and the number of people entering the shop are strictly controlled at 30% of the maximum indoor load.

  Under the premise of ensuring safety, more than 1,800 cruise ships in the city's park scenic area are launched, the number of passengers on the cruise ship is controlled at 30% of the maximum load, 90 open-air rides and 341 open-air fitness facilities are operated, and the number of people is controlled at the largest 50% of the carrying capacity, areas that are prone to crowds, such as football fields and basketball courts, remain closed. There are 977 parks in the city open for night tours, and the opening time lasts until 22:00.

  In addition, during the small and long holidays, the Municipal Landscaping Bureau and the Civilization Office of the Capital, public security, cultural tourism, water affairs, urban management and other departments continued to jointly carry out civilized gardens renovation actions. The public security department dispatched 4,900 police officers, carried out 337 joint law enforcement actions, and discouraged 705 uncivilized garden visits. The urban management department dispatched 1,283 law enforcement personnel to carry out law enforcement inspections on the environmental order of parks and surrounding rivers and lakes, and investigated 486 uncivilized garden visits in 214 parks. 1100 volunteers and 1008 public civilization guides discouraged uncivilized behaviors more than 32,000 times in 68 parks across the city, and channeled more than 1.66 million tourists.
