How many are these child soldiers today? In the Central African Republic, the peace agreement signed in February 2019 between the government and 14 armed groups, has enabled a relative return to calm ... But amid the violence that continues, children are still present… The authorities estimate that in 2013, around 100,000 children were able to be recruited by armed groups… They are nearly 14,000 who were “released”. RFI went to meet them. To protect them, all of their names have been changed.
