The Spotify streaming platform has released an audio version of the first chapter of "Harry Potter and the Wizarding school" read by Daniel Radcliffe. The other chapters will be read by other personalities, such as David Beckham.

The most famous wizard in history will experience a second youth. Spotify will put an audio version of the first volume of the Harry Potter literary series for free , read by celebrities, including actor Daniel Radcliffe, who played the characters in the cinema. However, this audio version will only be available in English.

A new chapter every week

The music and audio platform released the first chapter on Tuesday, read by the British comedian who starred in the eight cinematic parts of Harry Potter, from 2001 to 2011. The episode lasted about 25 minutes. Each week will follow another chapter, read by celebrities such as former professional footballer David Beckham, actor Eddie Redmayne and actress Dakota Fanning.

The audio version will be available to subscribers to the free Spotify plan as well as the paid plan. Videos of the recordings will be posted on the wizardingworld.com site, the official portal for the Harry Potter saga and its "Fantastic Beasts" pendant. Over 500 million books from the Harry Potter saga have been sold worldwide. According to Wizarding World, the first volume, published in 1997, remains the best-selling of all.
