20 years after the first season of the cult program "Star Academy", the programmers of Endemol Shine are thinking of putting it back on the air. For the moment, no format has yet been fixed: it could be both a compilation of cult moments from the show, as well as a "new generation" season.

In a year, the "Star Ac '" will celebrate its 20 spring. TF1 had broadcast the very first edition of its flagship program in October 2001. And it may well be that the program will return next year, to celebrate its twentieth anniversary.

"A new generation AC Star"

"We are working on different programs around a new generation Star Ac," said Vincent Panozzo, director of programs, creation and development for the Endemol Shine group, interviewed by  Le Parisien . However, he did not specify either the format imagined, or whether it would be a simple anniversary number to relive the best moments of the program, or whether there would be a real renaissance of the reality show.

Archives online since April 21

Between 2001 and 2008, TF1 had broadcast eight seasons of the game. The show notably revealed the singer Jenifer, the big winner of the first edition. IN 2012, NRJ 12 had tried to relaunch the brand, in a slightly different concept. But this return had not met the expected success with viewers, and had been deprogrammed.
