At 1:40 pm on May 1, a forest fire broke out in Aojiang Village, Shipai Town, Datian County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. Fujian Provincial Forest Fire Brigade immediately activated the emergency response mechanism and dispatched a total of 432 fire commanders from Sanming Detachment, Longyan Detachment and Special Service Brigade to participate in fire fighting operations overnight. According to Datian Financial Media, after a preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire was a fire caused by the 73-year-old man's farming.
