In the Central African Republic, the National Elections Authority yesterday confirmed the date of December 27 for the first round of the presidential and legislative elections. But if these elections were to be postponed for several months due to the health or security situation, could President Touadéra ensure his own interim? The question remains. A draft amendment to the Constitution carried by parliamentarians is on the government table. Tuesday, former president François Bozizé warned the government against such a modification, on RFI. Today Prime Minister Firmin Ngrebada responds.
