On April 29, a special news briefing was held at the Jiangkou Shenyin Site Archaeological Work Station to inform the outside world that the third phase of archaeological excavations had achieved important results. On January 10, 2020, the third phase of archaeology officially began excavation and ended on April 28. It lasted more than three months, with an excavation area of 5,000 square meters, an exploration area of 10,000 square meters, and more than 10,000 artifacts unearthed.
