The Auditorium of Lyon has just published a new video of its musicians. This time, the percussionists of the National Orchestra of Lyon, who decided to applaud in their own way the nursing staff and overall, all the professionals "essential to our daily lives".

No instruments. Only rhythmic applause. We see them performing an arrangement of "Music for Pieces of Wood". A piece composed by the American Steve Reich whose objective was to make a work using the most basic musical instruments possible.

The original piece, written in 1973, was performed by claves, small wooden sticks.
