Miyagi Prefecture has announced the names of the two pachinko parlors in the prefecture that continue to operate without requesting closure based on Article 45 of the Act on Special Measures against New Coronavirus.

Governor Murai of Miyagi Prefecture held a press conference on the afternoon of 29th and announced the names of the pachinko parlors in Izumi Ward, Sendai City and Matsushima Town, saying that they would continue to operate without requesting the prefecture's leave.

According to the prefecture, in response to the information that there are stores that are still open after the 25th of this month when we requested closure, we requested individual cooperation in writing.

However, since these two stores are still open on the 29th without request, the prefecture has announced their store names on its website based on Article 45 of the Act on Special Measures Against New Coronavirus. It means to delete it when you are closed.

While the Sendai city store tells the prefecture that it will be closed from the 30th, the Matsushima town store will continue to operate.

Governor Murai called, "It's a tough decision, but we have decided to make it public to prevent the spread of the infection. There is a possibility of infection, so I would like you to refrain from business during the long holidays."
