The spread of the virus seems to be accelerating in recent days, this transmission is no longer linked only to imported cases which had crossed the border, it has become community-based in several cities and villages of the country. The state has taken strong measures since the beginning of the pandemic: closing of borders, schools, state of emergency, ban on rallies and curfew in force from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., or wearing a mandatory mask. Result: in the capital, the Senegalese try to limit their movements ... willingly or by force. All to stem the progression of the pandemic, with serious consequences for the economy and daily life.
