When will Tomorrow We Belong finally make a comeback? This is a question that millions of fans have asked themselves since the daily soap opera stopped on Friday March 20. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the filming of the TF1 fiction was put on hold, just like that of its competitors, namely Un Si Grand Soleil on France 2 and Plus Belle La Vie on France 3.

Ara Aprikian, director general in charge of content for the TF1 group, acknowledges that a dozen shootings have been suspended on all of the programs, as he explains to our colleagues at Le Figaro. On the fiction side, the director expects a return of Tomorrow Belongs to us this summer. “We have stock and when filming resumes, we will have the capacity to refuel the grid quickly enough. They still have to be able to resume, ”he concedes.

Despite the health crisis and containment restrictions, TF1 still wants to offer its return to school in September. Ara Aprikian has also confided to having "anticipated from the beginning of March and built up a reservoir of content already shot. Our schedule will be almost normal this fall, with the return of big brands like Koh-Lanta , The Voice Kids , big cinema films, new American series and new seasons of French fiction. In the meantime, the channel continues to offer its programs in a "confined" version like Who wants to earn millions? which is played in video.
