On April 26, a row of hand-washing robots at the entrance of Zhongxu School affiliated to East China Normal University was placed in the passage for teachers and students to enter the school, becoming the first hurdle for students to enroll.
The reporter saw that the hand-washing robot uses a cartoon shape and a simple white coat color. When the hand is placed in the induction area, the robot will spit out no-wash foam for students to wash their hands.
The principal of the school, Wang Yimin, told reporters that the school students are mainly elementary and junior high school students. They have specially set up this cartoon-like hand-washing robot. In addition to hand-washing, students can also interact with the robot through voice to learn the "seven-step hand-washing method." It is understood that the next step of these hand-washing robots will also be placed at the entrance of each classroom, so that students will develop the habit of washing hands frequently.
