According to Variety, Chris Pine is currently in negotiations to take the lead role in a Paramount-produced Saint's reboot . It would therefore take over from Roger Moore who portrayed the role in the series of the 60s, and Val Kilmer who embodied it in the 1997 feature film. Taken from the books of Leslie Charteris published in the 20s, the plot will follow so the adventures of Simon Templor, a thief with a big heart better known by his angelic pseudonym.
