A novel about a serial killer, the military, flying saucers, an atomic bomb, religious extremists, massacred women and perfume. It is a novel in which the main character is a sheriff, lonely, obsessed with the death of his murdered parents, a man on the verge of falling in love.

"1954, USA : while touring at night in the first snow, on the desert highlands of Garfield County, Utah, Sheriff Nick Corey discovers an abandoned car. At the same time, he sees land a Saber hunter, without any light. And without a pilot. This is the battle fights. The army and the FBI are on the teeth. As for Corey, he finds himself confronted with his own past : the serial killer , who murdered his parents and ruined his life, reappears. Corey chases after him.
