Kanye West and the fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A have helped provide more than 300,000 meals to people affected by the coronavirus crisis in Los Angeles. The artist's generosity turned to the Dream Center, a non-profit Christian association that has been trying to feed the poor since the start of the pandemic.

We are so grateful for everyone who has stepped up to help us to make it to 300,000 meals served to our community! Check out the article from @FoxNews that recaps the last 36 days! https://t.co/2kLiMp0HN5

"Every morning I get up and arrive at the parking lot with our dedicated team, and I am blown away to see that day after day there is enough food to feed those who need it," moved Matthew Barnett, co-founder of the structure, in a press release addressed to Fox News.

A miracle

“I cannot thank enough the various donors who made everything possible. This is what a neighborhood, a community and a parish should always look like, "he added, before comparing this outpouring of generosity to" a miracle of biblical proportion ". Still according to Matthew Barnett, Kanye West would have allowed, by his donation, to extend the help of the Dream Center which now delivers meals to isolated seniors.
