Hollywood star Tom Hanks, a survivor of Covid-19 disease, wrote a letter to an Australian victim of bullying called corona, and gifted him with a typewriter of the same name.

Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, contracted "Covid-19" last March, and spent two weeks in a hospital in Queensland, Australia, before returning home to the United States recovering. Local media reported that eight-year-old Corona de Friz sent a letter to Hanks asking him about his health, in which he wrote: “I heard in the news that you and your wife were infected with the Corona virus ... are you all right?” He added, "I love my name ... but at school they call me Corona," as reported by "7 News". And the boy continued, "I feel sad and angry when people call me by this name." Hanks replied with encouraging words printed on one of the typewriters: "Your message made me, and my wife, feel happy!", Stressing: "I got a new friend." Hanks also presented him with a typewriter bearing the "Corona" brand, saying: "I think this typewriter works for you ... Ask an adult how to work."
