Joined by 20 Minutes , the public prosecutor Philippe Astruc explains that only five reiterations have been retained out of the nine repeat offenders. “Sometimes, the prosecution considers that such or such verbalization does not have enough legal solidity. In the present case, the interested party disputes some of them for which we do not have enough elements to adduce evidence to the contrary, ”adds Philippe Astruc.

As part of the confinement, the police and the gendarmerie can issue 4th class tickets (135 euros fine). The offense becomes characterized when a third party accumulates three in less than 30 days.
