The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) announced that it has conducted joint training with US bombers from the mainland US on the 22nd over the Sea of ​​Japan and Okinawa. The US military emphasized its willingness to be involved in the Indo-Pacific region, saying that it has the ability to expand even if the global spread of infection is widespread.

In the joint training, B1 bombers of the U.S. Air Force flying from the mainland US, four F16 fighters at Misawa base, and F15 fighters and F2 fighters from JASDF, 15 in total participated.

The training was conducted over the Sea of ​​Japan and Okinawa, and the photos released by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force show that both Japanese and American fighters fly in a row on both sides of the B1 bomber.

This is the second time since the beginning of this year that the US Army bomber and the JASDF have conducted joint training around Japan.

The U.S. Air Force also announced this training, saying, "We continue to be involved in the peace and stability of the region and, despite the spread of the global outbreak, have the ability to deploy from many parts of the world. We emphasized our involvement in the Indo-Pacific region.
