China News Service, April 21, according to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Health and Welfare Committee, there were no new confirmed cases imported from abroad from 0 to 24 April on April 20. A total of 191 overseas imported cases were reported; one newly confirmed case was reported for Foshan, and the foreign imported connection was reported. It was transferred to a confirmed case for asymptomatic infected persons isolated and managed in Nigeria.
As of 24:00 on April 20, Guangdong Province has reported a total of 1582 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, a total of 1501 discharges, and a total of 8 deaths.
Seven new cases were discharged. Among the 73 cases in the hospital (including 42 cases imported from abroad), 15 cases were light type, 53 cases were normal type and 5 cases were heavy type.
Six new cases of asymptomatic infections were added, all of which were related to overseas imports. Among them, 5 cases in Guangzhou were found through community investigations, medical institutions and isolation points, and 1 case in Foshan was found through medical institutions.
