"Day and Night" caused an uproar in Egypt after it was recently shown on social media and YouTube platforms, although it raised cinemas some time ago, only a few days ago, and it did not achieve any public success.

The film crisis - which stars Dora, Khaled Al Nabawi, Hanan Mutawa and Ahmed Al-Fishawi - led by the Egyptian Nurse Syndicate to work because of the role of the star Dora - in particular - which embodied the personality of a poor and divorced nurse in the hospital with doctors due to the cause Physical deficiency, as well as - and some of her colleagues - steal medications for patients to sell and earn from them financially.

The Egyptian Nurses Syndicate accused the film of insulting the profession, and it came to the conclusion that the captain of the Nursing General, Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, described the film as very "abusive". And she called on Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to intervene and upload the film from any medium. "The Egyptian drama does not spare the nurses and do not respect them," the nurses' captain added in an angry statement on TV programs.

For her part, the artist Dora confirmed to "Emirates Today" that she respects any profession related to the medical device in the world and Egypt in these difficult circumstances, "They are the angels of mercy who sacrifice their lives for the sake of the sick, and of course we cannot offend any group, so everyone has their respect." She stressed the need to separate the role the artist offers, drama, and accusations of abuse, because in the end the actor only presents a fictional character.

For his part, the film's producer and author, Yahya Fekry, said in exclusive statements to "Emirates Today" that the work is exposed to several negative patterns of corruption. He added, "There is no discussion or debate that nursing is a respectable profession and honors anyone and we all sanctify them, and there is no intention to abuse the film."
