According to information from the Parisian , the streaming platform has signed a partnership with the distributor MK2 and its catalog of classics. On the program, films by François Truffaut, Claude Chabrol, Jacques Demy, Charlie Chaplin, David Lynch, or even Xavier Dolan which will gradually arrive on Netflix in the coming months.
From Friday and Saturday, platform subscribers will be able to watch twelve of the 21 films by François Truffaut, one of the emblematic directors of the New Wave. Among them, Les 400 coups , Tirez sur le pianiste , Jules et Jim , Le Dernier métro , La peau douce or Fahrenheit 451 .

At the end of 2020, Netflix will also offer the almost complete filmography of Claude Chabrol. The American giant will also broadcast the films of Jacques Demy, the director of the Demoiselles de Rochefort and the Umbrellas of Cherbourg .
