China News Service, Hohhot, April 18 (Reporter Li Aiping) From February 28 to the present, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been investigating coal corruption issues for 20 years. Six retired and current coal officials have been investigated.

  On February 28, Shi Taifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said that he would conduct a comprehensive "consultation" of the development and utilization of coal resources in Inner Mongolia since 2000. The official said that the "consultation" originated from the violation of laws and regulations in the coal resources field exposed by corruption cases such as Yunguangzhong, Bai Xiangqun, Xing Yun, and Yunmin.

  Earlier, four legal advisers, corporate executives, and officials related to coal corruption have been investigated by the Commission for Discipline Inspection. Among the four officials investigated, there are both retired and current officials.

  On April 18, the Inner Mongolia Commission for Discipline Inspection issued heavy news. On that day, the former Inner Mongolia Coal Geological Prospecting (Group) Co., Ltd.'s original and current party secretary and general manager were investigated at the same time.

  Mo Ruoping, who retired in October 2017, is the former party secretary and general manager of Inner Mongolia Coal Geological Exploration (Group) Co., Ltd.

  After sorting out his curriculum vitae, it can be found that from 1982 to 2017, Mo Ruoping started as a technician from the original Inner Mongolia Coal Geology Bureau, and then served as the project leader, director, chief engineer, and deputy director of the bureau. In 2017, he served as Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Inner Mongolia Coal Geological Exploration (Group) Co., Ltd. (Inner Mongolia Coal Geology Bureau), and his work experience is related to coal.

  On the same day, Hao Shengfa, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Inner Mongolia Coal Geological Prospecting (Group) Co., Ltd. was also investigated.

  Hao Shengfa, born in 1963, has 32 years of work experience in his resume also related to coal.

  Hao Shengfa, who joined the work in 1988, was the first to serve as a technician, project leader, deputy chief engineer, secretary of the party branch of the drilling team in the Inner Mongolia Coal Geology Bureau.

  From November 2011 to April 2014, Hao Shengfa served as member of the Party committee and deputy general manager of Inner Mongolia Coal Geological Exploration (Group) Co., Ltd. (Inner Mongolia Coal Geology Bureau);

  From April 2014 to September 2017, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Inner Mongolia Mining (Group) Co., Ltd .; from September 2017 to present, Secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Inner Mongolia Coal Geological Exploration (Group) Co., Ltd.

  Inner Mongolia, known as the "large coal province (region)" by the outside world, has extremely rich proven reserves and extraction of coal. At present, the coal reserves in Inner Mongolia are 459.041 billion tons, ranking first in the country. (Finish)
