Confirmed infection of 6 men and women in Chiba Funabashi New Coronavirus April 18 17:17

Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, announced that six men and women in their 20s and 60s living in the city were newly infected with the new coronavirus.

According to Funabashi City, new infections were confirmed in all three female office workers living in the city, one female technician in their thirties, and one female worker in their 50s. There are a total of 6 men, including men in the 60s and contract workers.

Among them, an engineer woman in her thirties worked in the prefecture and was working on the morning of 14th of this month when she had a fever of 37 degrees, but she had no contact with the patient.

The woman is a family member of a male employee in her 30s who was confirmed to be infected on the 15th, and the transmission route of the other 5 people is unknown.

The symptoms of 6 people were all mild, and the city continues to observe the health of concentrated contacts.

The number of infected people announced so far in Chiba prefecture is 638.
