China News Service, April 17 (Xinhua) According to the official Weibo news of the Guangdong Provincial Health and Welfare Committee, on April 16 at 0-24 hours, Guangdong Province added 1 confirmed case of overseas imports, Guangzhou reported (from Australia, found through the port of entry, (Isolated observation after entry). The province has accumulatively reported 190 confirmed cases imported from abroad.
There were 5 newly confirmed cases in China, 4 cases reported in Guangzhou (3 cases were confirmed by asymptomatic infections, 1 case was found in hot clinic), and 1 case was reported in Shenzhen (input from Hubei).
As of 24:00 on April 16, the province reported a total of 1577 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, a total of 1475 discharges, and a total of 8 deaths.
Four new cases were discharged. Among the 94 cases in the hospital (including 61 cases imported from abroad), 17 cases were mild, 73 cases were normal, 3 cases were heavy, and 1 case was critical.
Newly added 24 cases of asymptomatic infections, 19 cases reported in Guangzhou (including 18 cases related to overseas imports; 1 case imported overseas), 3 cases reported in Foshan, 1 case reported in Dongguan (both imported overseas), and 1 case reported in Shenzhen Hubei input).
