Actress Jessica Chastain - AdMedia / Starface

Jessica Chastain decided to get directly involved in helping nursing staff in New York hospitals. The actress, very active since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, would have, according to Page Six , launched an initiative to feed the team of the Lenox Hill hospital, on the Upper East Side. And the star of Zero Dark Thirty did not skimp on the means since she sent them… vegan burgers from Beyond Meat.

“The nurses loved it. It was a great surprise. We love pizza, but that has changed us a little, and it's healthier above all, ”responded a hospital employee to the publication.

Renewable charity

And if we believe Page Six , Jessica Chastain does not intend to stop there. The actress wants to renew this gift every week, to allow caregivers, on the front line facing the coronavirus, to breathe and feast at the same time.

It's 7pm, and from the #WestVillage to the #uppereastside, New Yorkers are cheering us on in this fight. And every single person that has clapped, made signs, rang bells, or donated food - We see you. We hear you. We Thank You! ♥ ️ https://t.co/089peGXc9R pic.twitter.com/I6m2eOjUKQ
